We have several opening for Non-Destructive (NDT) Test Technicians to work on the LaGuardia Airport Reconstruction Project

Requirements:

Must have certifications:

• Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Level II [per SNT TC-1A]
• Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) Level II [per SNT TC-1A]
• Radiographic Film Interpretation [per SNT TC-1A] or AWS Certified Radiographic Interpreter (CRI)

Will be required to sit for written and practical exams conducted by TRC certifying authority or for AWS classification and provide original of current certifications.

Must Have:

• Minimum of 3 years. of experience on DOT, NYC DOB or other related projects (preferred
• AWS D1.1: Structural Welding Code-Steel
• AWS D1.8: Structural Welding Code-Seismic Supplement (a plus but not a requirement for hiring)
• ASTM standards
• 2014 NYC Building Code
• AISC Steel Construction Manual
• Ability to review and understand project plans and specifications, and perform inspections accordingly
• Understand the difference between Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC)
• Proficient with using a computer for writing inspection reports and reviewing electronic documents
• Are located in the New York, New Jersey or the Connecticut area and willing to commute to the LaGuardia Airport
• Availability to travel domestically and internationally (immediate assignment is at the site and the surrounding NY area)
• Acceptable DMV Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) for driving personal or company vehicles to and from assigned locations
