    We are seeking to hire a PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER to join our collaborative, high growth organization located at our office based in Lane Cove, Sydney, Australia.  This is a unique opportunity for an experienced PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER to work for a company that focuses on delivering world leading and innovative telecommunications products and services. 

     

    A highly dynamic role, as an individual contributor, the Product Marketing Manager works across all product portfolios, and with the relevant Product Manager, is responsible for helping to develop effective product marketing strategy and collateral to a global customer base and sales force. 

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Build key relationships with Product Managers, gaining an intimate understanding of their core technology offerings and road maps.
    • Develop purposeful and measurable campaigns and collateral targeted at global telecommunications companies, with the view of supporting targeted sales activities in these key accounts.
    • Identify and deliver key marketing initiatives supporting all product portfolios.
    • Support product management in the commercial evaluation of new concepts, including assumptions gathering, business case development, commercial ratification and sign-off.
    • Advise customers and the wider global market, solving their problems across hardware, software and services.
    • Collaborate with the global sales force to ensure high levels of sales engagement and appropriate levels of support are being provided to the sales teams.
    • Travel to various events to support marketing requirements in line with the portfolio objectives.
    • Assist with responses to commercial tenders where required.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS: 

     

    • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent.
    • 2+ to 5 years of experience in product marketing, online marketing, media or consulting to marketers.
    • Has a demonstrable track record in developing successful marketing campaigns in the telecommunications or information technology space.
    • A self-starter with strong analytical, planning and people skills.
    • Good understanding of hardware, software in the telecommunications space.
    • An innovative and creative thinker who can identify opportunities for sustainable, profitable growth.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage virtual and cross functional teams.
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
