WESTWOOD PROFESSIONAL SERVICES, INC. is seeking a Designer to join our team in our Phoenix, AZ office. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Technical expert with considerable experience and advanced proficiency in all design elements • Ability to exercise an increased amount of professional judgment and discretion • Perform non-routine work equivalent to many registered • Ability to understand and enforce company design/CAD standards • Job assignments are of an advanced nature, similar to assignments given to registered professionals • Lead in-house training of technical staff • Independently performs assignments on advanced design elements • Oversee technical staff in the design approach to meet project objectives and requirements • Mentor and train designers • Proven track record of performing and maintaining QA/QC standards • Independently conducts jurisdictional in-house meetings regarding specific design elements • Assist in representing projects at public hearings • Ability to identify and effectively resolve issues that arise in a timely manner • Coach technical staff

• High school diploma or equivalent and 15+ years relevant experience or • Associates degree and 13+ years relevant experience
