    Taylor University is seeking applications of candidates for PART-TIME ATHLETIC TRAINER. This is a PART-TIME, 10 MONTH, EXEMPT position located in Upland, Indiana.  Resumes will be accepted until position is filled.

    MISSION STATEMENT    The mission of Taylor University is to develop servant leaders marked with a passion to minister Christ's redemptive love and truth to a world in need. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES    

    • Responsible to assist the Head ATC in conducting evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.
    • Responsible for medical care for athletic teams as assigned by Head ATC.
    • Responsible to travel with athletic teams as assigned by Head ATC.
    • Responsible to assist in pre-participation physicals for athletes.
    • Responsible to assist the Head ATC in maintaining accurate inventory of Athletic Training Room supplies.
    • Responsible to maintain accurate medical records.
    • Responsible to work directly with the team physician for the evaluation and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.
    • Responsible to make referrals as needed.
    • Responsible to communicate, daily with teams in season, coaching staff regarding injuries, safety, and other related injuries.
    • Responsible for covering summer basketball camps if needed.
    • Responsible for other duties as assigned by Head ATC
    • Responsible for any assignments issued by the Athletic Director and other administrative personnel.
    • Sport coverage will be decided on a yearly basis by the Head ATC.

     

    START DATE               AUGUST 1, 2019 

     

    Required Skills

    Must be an Athletic Trainer, Certified (ATC) by the National Athletic Trainers Association and licensed by the State of Indiana.

    Required Experience

    This position must hold a Bachelor’s degree.
