SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT – COMMERCIAL
Full-Time, Exempt, Salaried plus commission plan

TRAVEL: To client sites as required.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Are you a very technical sales professional or a very sales-oriented engineer? As a Solutions Architect, you will be directly responsible for generating and overseeing the growth of our cybersecurity sales opportunities, as well as providing highlights and guidance on sales forecasting, processes, reporting, enablement, and commercial market development You will own both the business and technical cases of opportunities while working closely with the cybersecurity team and play a key role in establishing growth strategies, partner growth, and solution development. You will also be in charge of developing critical channels and client categories, as well as developing individual cybersecurity sales strategies and goals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to connect with C level and senior level executives and deliver a clear message
- Establishing and maintaining executive connections with clients, partners, and potential clients.
- Identify key decision makers while developing and qualifying new business opportunities
- Grow your client base by prospecting, networking, and forming smart alliances.
- Assess the security and technological needs of potential customers, as well as their business challenges.
- Generate business development leads for planning and coordination with key partners
- Perform sales functions and have experience in cold calling, lead generation and prospecting
- Establish and manage client leads, service delivery, and client satisfaction by developing and implementing go-to-market strategies and account plans.
- Identify and create the company's differentiators and unique selling propositions.
- Work with prospective customers to develop and deliver a solution that achieves the security goals of the customer
- Understand the security architecture of prospects and identify and present how we can support and secure their infrastructure
- Provide accurate forecasting and reporting metrics to provide visibility into sales pipeline
- Support marketing activities
- Develop proposals in response to requests for proposals (RFPs) and client requirements
- Attend trade fairs, conferences, and events actively, including speaking engagements and technical demos.
EXPERIENCE IN:
- Experience with Managed Security Service Providers
- Service revenue models
- Technical solutions engineering
REQUIREMENTS:
- Total OWNERSHIP of your opportunities and territory
- Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Sales, Marketing or COMBINED EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE
- Proven 5+ years track record of selling commercial cybersecurity solutions and services
- Experience designing and presenting technical solutions and services to meet client needs
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Professional presentation skills
- Self-starter, cooperative attitude; team player, accountable
- Must have excellent interpersonal and time management skills
- Must possess a high degree of intelligence, competence, maturity, adaptability, integrity and initiative
- Clear, logical, and persuasive communication skills with an ability to work closely with executives and employees at all levels
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience managing the sales cycle from business champion to the C-Level executive(s)
- Previous Sales/Business Development methodology training and CRM experience
- Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles
- Track records of over-achieving sales quota in past role(s)
