Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Sales Professional in the Corona, CA area to generate business in new market segments and grow existing accounts with additional products. The Sales candidate must possess organizational skills, be able to generate a plan of attack for sales growth, and have a track record of closing business over the phone and in person. This is a business to business (B2B) position selling direct to distributors and manufacturers.
Position Functions:
- Must be able to target and prospect New customers
- Identify current customers' needs and introduce new products they are not purchasing
- Quote prices, convey credit terms, and prepare sales contracts
- Present samples, flyers, catalogs, or e-blasts and describe positive attributes of product
- Work with Accounts Receivable to insure accounts are maintained within agreed upon terms
- Submit Sales Reports as directed by management
- Strategic thinker to identify new markets to sell into
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- 2-5 years inside sales experience directly selling to customers over the phone, call center a plus
- Proven success of sales and history of sales accomplishments
- Excellent oral and written communication, active listening, and customer service skills
- Ability to communicate clearly through e-mail, telephone, and in person
- Strong closing skills
- Computer literacy including the ability to work with Microsoft Products, Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Experience in the plastics, polyethylene, industry
- Experience in selling to repeat customers and upselling within the product mix
- Ability to identify new customers, prospects to sell product line to
Compensation package includes base salary , Full Benefits package including, Medical, Dental, Vision
Objective:
The main objective of sales is to continually prospect, identify, and close New Customers for TRM Manufacturing. Within this objective, Sales is expected to maintain its account base and manage each customer to insure we are experiencing the growth objectives as set forth in our monthly forecasting meetings.
Expectations:
1. Provide Daily Call Logs to management for review of the day's activities.
2. Manage each account by way of weekly, monthly, and yearly sales numbers. Are they increasing, decreasing? What competitors are penetrating our share of the market and bring suggestions to combat these encroachments.
3. Visit top accounts as needed with senior management to maintain relationships within these organizations
4. Visit prospects and existing accounts as needed within region of territory. Plan for trips to be signed off 4 weeks prior to trip by senior management
5. Provide weekly reports of potential opportunities within current industry and new industries
6. Identify New Products or market segments with opportunities for company growth
