Job Description
TRUE linkswear is seeking a motivated Email Marketing Manager to manage all aspects of our outgoing digital communication funnel. This person will manage and execute all e-mail & SMS marketing functions – this includes everything from list growth, segmentation, campaign management to overseeing all communications with our customers both domestic and abroad. The ideal candidate will be able to take ownership within these channels and work directly with the marketing team to keep our customers engaged and informed with a consistent, on brand voice.
This position will work closely with the VP of Marketing. This position is full-time in Tacoma, WA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage all email & SMS campaigns within Shopify, Klaviyo and Wunderkind
- Create and execute an overall email/SMS strategy to grow our customer database and revenue generated within each channel
- Create various lists and segments to further customize specific email flows/campaigns based on customer behavior, location, and more
- Frequently A/B test all aspects of our campaigns and communications
- Develop and report KPI’s and A/B test results on a weekly basis; always looking for ways to improve the customer experience and key metrics to ensure we’re sending the right message to the right audience
- Create and implement a lead generation strategy to grow our email/SMS lists and segments
- Collaborate with external groups and organizations on promotions, giveaways, and more
- Work with the marketing team to create organic campaigns that align with announcements, product launches, holidays, and more utilizing the marketing calendar
- Optimize all automated flows including our abandoned cart, welcome series, order confirmation, and more for overall success
- Work with the marketing team to develop and implement a strategy for new international communications and automations
- Support the wholesale team with B2B designed email campaigns and automations as needed
- Able to work independently to achieve set team goals and initiatives
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- At least 3-4 years of email marketing experience within small to medium sized brands
- 2-3 years’ experience within Klaviyo and creating automated flows, campaigns, and templates
- Familiarity within Shopify email marketing systems and processes
- Experience with Wunderkind preferred
- Demonstrated experience copywriting/proofreading and an ability to create engaging, unique emails that follow the overall brand calendar of product launches, campaigns, and other planned events/benchmarks
- Experience within segmentation and delivering emails to different consumers within the purchasing funnel
- Familiarity within A/B testing and best practice optimization techniques to own everything within the email marketing funnel including domestic DTC, international DTC, and wholesale
- Preferred 1-2 years’ experience within SMS marketing and a proven ability to create and run SMS campaigns
- Able to work across departments to create unique email templates and echo the brand ethos and remains consistent with the website and other media
- Proven ability to self-manage and set/communicate KPIs to stakeholders
- An interest in golf or sports in general and thrives in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong self-starter, as the initial scope of work will be largely independently managed and operated
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
- A driven, motivated individual looking to take the reins and own the digital communications channel
