Our lawn care service company located in the northern suburbs of Chicago is looking to expand our lawn and tree care management services by adding a Lawn Care Technician to our workforce.

The ideal candidate will have a friendly and welcoming personality while also being perceptive and efficient.  You should have a professional appearance, be motivated to do your best every day and have a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:

• Load and prepare trucks for daily route
• Organize and clean truck daily after finishing the route
• Apply granular fertilizer to customers' lawn with push spreader
• Apply liquid weed control to customers' lawns
• Identify and resolve lawn issues for clients
• Communicate condition of lawn and/or trees to clients
• Provide the best care and service the industry offers
• Complete daily reports
• Contact customers via phone as needed
• Assist Lawn Care Technician

Requirements:

• Must obtain an Illinois General Standard License
• No previous lawn care experience required; training will be provided
• Good communication skills
• Customer service skills
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds throughout the day
• Must pass a motor vehicle screen and hold valid Driver’s License
• Will need to pass a drug screen
• Must be 18 or older
• High school diploma or equivalent

This position’s salary base is $17.00 per hour with opportunity for increases at 60 and 90 days. Position is eligible to participate in benefits including dental, vision, short term disability, long term disability and others. Opportunity to be promoted within the company.
