Salary Ranges:
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Performs routine (journey-level) to highly complex (senior-level) planning work for the Regional Water Planning Department. Work involves supporting, coordinating and managing planning grant contracts for development of regional water plans. Serves as a liaison (non-voting member) on regional water planning groups. Provides unbiased technical and administrative assistance to regional water planning groups including assisting the groups in understanding and navigating the regional water planning framework, rules, and guidance. Reviews regional water plan drafts, creates presentations, and informs and educates stakeholders. Supports regional water project development teams and evaluates projects as part of the agency funding application process. Assists in developing the state water plan. May train others. Works under moderate to limited supervision, with limited to considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Reports to the Manager of the Regional Water Planning Department.
