    We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer to join the team based out of our New York City office location. This is your opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing beauty business.

    The CFO will be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and will be instrumental in identifying and enabling the Company's growth strategies. This role will be a trusted and strategic business advisor to the CEO, board, and executive team, working in a collaborative partnership to propel the business forward through a combination of financial, business, and digital acumen, while delivering on the core mandate to provide sound financial reporting and operational management within a high growth and rapidly scaling organization.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute the Company's financial strategy aligned with the overall business goals, driving revenue growth, profitability, and shareholder value.

    • Oversee the financial planning and forecasting process, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to provide accurate and timely financial insights to senior management.

    • Manage financial systems (SAP), reporting, KPI management, and dashboards.

    • Prepare financial analyses, reports, and GAAP financial statements and present them to the executive team, the Board of Directors, and external stakeholders.

    • Identify and assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them effectively.

    • Manage the company's capital structure, optimizing the allocation of financial resources and capital investments to support business growth initiatives.

    • Oversee cash flow planning, financing activities, and treasury operations to ensure adequate liquidity, efficient working capital management, and optimal capital structure.

    • Supervise the accounting and finance departments (3-5 direct reports), ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions and records.

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, analysts, and financial institutions, communicating the company's financial performance, strategy, and prospects.

    • Evaluate and execute potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships, conducting financial due diligence, and integrating acquired entities into the company's financial systems.

    • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and accounting principles, maintaining strong corporate governance practices, and promoting a culture of ethics and integrity within the finance function.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; MBA/CPA preferred.

    • 10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, including 5+ years in leadership positions such as CFO, Finance Director, or Controller.

    • Deep understanding of the beauty industry or a similar retail channel consumer goods sector, including familiarity with industry-specific financial metrics and trends.

    • Proven track record in financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.

    • Ability to think strategically and translate financial insights into actionable business strategies, driving revenue growth, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.

    • Strong leadership presence and ability to lead and inspire a finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

    • Able to be scrappy and hands-on with material experience helping scale medium-sized businesses.

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and develop meaningful insights and recommendations.

    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to non-financial stakeholders and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.

    • Spanish fluency and experience working within a private equity-backed organization are pluses.

    • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
