Job Requirements
5+ years of experience administering, supporting, or engineering enterprise BI and visualization platforms.
Proven hands-on experience with platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, and related analytics or reporting tools.
Strong understanding of enterprise BI architecture, platform configuration, permissions, content organization, governance, and operational support.
Hands-on experience with security models including RBAC, group-based access, content-level permissions, row-level security concepts, and access governance.
Experience supporting BI environments in both on-premises and cloud-based deployment models.
Familiarity with migration planning for enterprise BI platforms, including on-premises to cloud transitions.
Strong understanding of dashboard and report performance optimization, refresh management, publishing standards, and content lifecycle governance.
Working knowledge of semantic layer concepts, shared metrics, governed dimensions, certified datasets, and business-aligned analytical delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Administer, maintain, and optimize enterprise BI and visualization platforms, including Tableau, Power BI, and related analytics tooling.
Support enterprise implementation strategies for BI platforms, including architecture, scalability, governance, operational readiness, and platform lifecycle management.
Help plan and execute modernization initiatives, including migration from on-premises BI environments to cloud-based platforms where applicable.
Manage platform configuration, user access, content organization, permissions, refresh schedules, subscriptions, gateways, and operational settings across supported BI tools.
Define and enforce best practices for dashboard design, report performance, publishing standards, content organization, usability, and governed self-service analytics.
Administer platform security including role-based access control (RBAC), least-privilege access, group-based permissions, content-level security, and secure sharing practices.
