    Job Description

    Tachus LLC (“Tachus”) is seeking an outstanding individual to fill the role of Human Resources Coordinator.  The ideal candidate should be an experienced, organized, energetic self-starter able to work independently to provide technical and administrative support for our core people processes such as recruiting, hiring, compensation and benefits.  You should have a passion for helping people and solving problems with an intuitive follow-up ability and customer service skills.  This position requires leadership skills and a genuine interest in contributing to the Tachus culture while maintaining the trust of our employees, customers and communities.  This position and its responsibilities will have the opportunity to grow as the company grows.

    Tachus is a residential fiber broadband internet provider that has been delivering service to the Greater Houston area since 2018. The HR Coordinator will be joining a team that brings decades of IT, infrastructure, technology and customer service experience with a proven track record of building and growing highly successful businesses.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead, manage and motivate
    • Demonstrate organizational, communication and multi-tasking skills
    • Assist with candidate screening, recruitment, application and interview process
    • Check prospective employee references
    • Orientation, onboarding and new hire paperwork coordination
    • Payroll processing
    • Time and Attendance system updates and employee setup
    • Assist in greeting customers and directing deliveries
    • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and work with highly sensitive data and information
    • Play an active role within the company assisting in developing and defining an overall strategy for our employee satisfaction and loyalty
    • Solid communication skills to effectively deal with various levels of management, staff and/or outside contacts
    • Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a professional and positive manner
    • Effective listening skills to ensure understanding of instructions and directions and effectively communicate progress and problems to co-workers and management
    • Familiarity with a variety of office equipment, standard software packages and application and use of personal computers to include the Microsoft Office suite of products
    • May perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned and/or required.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Must be prompt, reliable, have a sense of urgency, quick-thinking
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team in an office setting
    • Attention to detail in all areas of work
    • Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines
    • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
    • Effective communications skills with individuals at all levels of the organization
    • Computer literacy, including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required
    • Physical activities include, but are not limited to climbing stairs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking and lifting up to 30 pounds
