    TACORI IS LOOKING FOR A FREELANCE JEWELRY DESIGNER!

    At Tacori, we are inspired by the spirit of California. Ingrained in our roots is the belief that anything is possible. We have an insatiable appetite to do better tomorrow, than we did yesterday.

    WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

    We are in search of a creative and innovative individual that will take an active role to initiate and develop design concepts each season that reflect the creative vision of Tacori. They will have the opportunity to collaborate with our COO and Design Director, Nadine Tacorian.

    WHAT WE NEED YOU TO HAVE:

    • Research, identify and forecast current market jewelry trends and color stories.
    • Conceptualize and design product assortments for specific store channels.
    • Create and present design mood boards for each season.
    • Research on-line portals including social media and all things fashion to gain knowledge of what's advancing in the industry.
    • Design innovative and attractive jewelry pieces in accordance to the brand aesthetic along with the targeted pricing structure.
    • Prepare and finalize technical drawings of proposed product to be used for production.
    • Bring a high level of creativity, attention to detail and efficiency while working under tight deadlines and on multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Be able to display a portfolio that demonstrates a track record of creative inspiration and marketable products.

    WHAT WE LIKE FOR YOU TO HAVE:

    • Bachelor's degree in Jewelry Design, Design, Fine Art or related experience.
    • Strong sense of fashion / design aesthetic and shows a passion for design.
    • Complete knowledge of jewelry manufacturing techniques, design techniques, tools and construction.
    • 5 + years of experience in jewelry product development.
    • Prior experience utilizing CAD as a design tool, strongly preferred.
    • Highly organized with thorough attention to detail.
    • Strong communication skills.
