    We are seeking Tagalog Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) to support our USCIS contract. Tagalog (Filipino) is a priority language for immigration and naturalization cases, requiring interpreters who can deliver with accuracy, neutrality, and professionalism.

    Responsibilities

    Provide real-time Tagalog ↔ English telephonic interpretation for USCIS officers, applicants, and stakeholders.

    Interpret with accuracy, impartiality, and confidentiality in immigration, legal, and administrative contexts.

    Handle both scheduled assignments and urgent/surge calls.

    Follow USCIS/DHS compliance standards and interpreter ethics.

    Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and quality assurance reviews.

    Qualifications

    Native or near-native fluency in Tagalog (Filipino) and English.

    2+ years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, legal, healthcare, or government preferred).

    Familiarity with interpreter ethics and confidentiality requirements.

    Strong communication skills and cultural competency.

    Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 clearance.
