Marketing Assistant – entry level
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Collaborate with the marketing team in developing creative marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, exposure, and relevancy.
· Able to write a creative paragraph to communicate with the audience both in business and casual tones.
· Support the social media marketing campaigns.
· Assist with the execution of email marketing campaigns.
· Support the traditional marketing campaigns (TV, Print, Radio, etc.)
· Collaborate on the development of sales education tools, POS materials, and other related assets utilizing Adobe (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) programs and MS Office programs.
· Coordinate submissions for national and international wine competitions.
· Assist in updating the company’s website and blog.
· Administrative support for the marketing team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s Degree in related field with three years of supportive experience in marketing, graphic design, DTC, brand management or equivalent education/experience combination.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Excellent proofing and editing skills.
· Some experience in traditional or digital marketing with a desire to learn more.
· Ability to support multiple projects on tight deadlines.
· Visual communicator with a sharp sense of design.
· Ability to follow brand and industry guidelines.
· Self-motivated, organized and accountable.
· Skilled in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to learn software programs with ease.
· Experience in Adobe Creative Suite preferred (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
· Some experience with graphic design, photography and/or video production preferred.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Ability to lift 45-50 pounds.
