Job Description

Tako Agency is looking for a dynamic marketing expert to assist our Creative Director with the following functions (all serving Tako's killer client base, with occasional internal work, as needed):

• Writing email marketing copy for Creative Director's review
• Implementing flows in Klaviyo according to recommendations made by Creative Director during email marketing audits (broad and deep knowledge of Klaviyo best practices, functionality, triggers/sequences/segments, optimization, and integration)
• Assisting Creative Director with marketing & opportunities audits; email marketing audits as necessary
• Write marketing copy for websites
• NICE TO HAVE: Authoring blog posts (topics typically surround eComm, marketing, app integrations, design & development, and general business)

Qualifications

NECESSARY SKILLS INCLUDE:

• A fresh take on modern marketing practices
• Familiarity with Klaviyo
• Original ideas; not just following a dusty old “best practices” playbook
• Commitment to genuinely helping clients and working harder/going above and beyond to make suggestions and find solutions that fit their unique needs
• Excellent copywriting skills
• Great communicator who can sell without being overly “salesy”
• Attention to detail & organized
• Self-starter, independent learner/thinker
• (VERY) NICE TO HAVE: familiarity with eCommerce brands/Shopify
