    WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE ENVIRONMENT TECHNICIAN SUPPORT?

    • Serve as the expert, assisting the Government with coordinating with other units, theater activities, and agencies, regarding capabilities, plans, policy, exercises, and strategy in support of Troop activities, at the direction of the Government.
    • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME).
    • Assist with facilitating and planning in support of Course of Action (COA) and Concept of Operation (CONOP) development and subsequent operations on a global scale, as directed by the Government.
    • Assist with planning, organizing, and conducting analytical studies, developing plans and exercises, and formulating strategy and future concepts for the USG PE forces involved in theater operations.
    • Support logistical coordination with U.S. and foreign embassies.
    • Routinely apply a thorough knowledge of diverse military forces, missions, and capabilities.
    • Engage in continuing liaison with representatives of other military commands, US and foreign government agencies.
    • Support decisions and actions taken, which are made more difficult by changing international or interagency roles, complex relationships controversial issues, and national priority missions.
    • Contractors may be required to use signature reduction mechanisms.
    • Possess first-hand knowledge and expertise with JCS exercises, military unit exercises, and emergency deployment readiness exercises to develop scenarios, concepts, and integrate strategic, operational, and tactical levels of participation.
    • Possess knowledge of implementing and employing Air Force and joint deception plans while conducting training and real-world missions.

    WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO YOU LOOK FOR?

    • A current TS/SCI security clearance.
    • 10+ years of experience or more within PE Operations as either a staff officer or operator.
    • 5+ years of special operations experience, including in-depth, first-hand experience of no less than working with special operations unit activities. within the last 5 years.
    • Knowledge of operational security of worldwide Special Tactics support and employment mission requirements, including assault zone survey. weather collection, and time-sensitive targeting in support of organizational objectives.
    • Detailed knowledge of national policies and doctrine concerning unit operations in order to develop and coordinate operational plans and policies for the Command.
