Talent Acquisition Concepts is looking for Software Engineer to support a new contract for a national defense program providing sustainment support for multiple Mission-Critical exploitation capabilities. Each system has its own specific requirements and infrastructure. We are seeking technical, self-motivated Software developers to be versatile and flexible to changing priorities from multiple customers. Leadership skills are highly desired. 

The Software Engineer will:

• Provide application development and technical support for business intelligence
• Provide technical consultation in new systems development, new package evaluations and enhancements of existing systems
• Prepare functional specifications from which programs can be written, and then design, code, tests, debug, and document programs
• Participate in the technical design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of business analytics
• Conduct system tests, monitor test results and take appropriate corrective action
• May prepare technical user guides
• Participate in special projects as required Design, develop, and test a web-application to present/visualize complex “big data” analysis in a series of interactive but simple, concise, and easy to understand “dashboards”
• Perform research to determine the best software solutions for presenting/visualizing the different types of data and analyses
• Research and develop optimal processes for retrieving data to minimize customer wait time when querying the web application
• Design and develop a method for analysts to extract subsets of data to common software environments (e.g. MS Excel) for use outside the “dashboard” environment
• Conduct system testing and execute validation procedures

Required Skills

• Tableau design and integration experience
• Java experience
• Business analytics skills
• Must have current TS/SCI clearance
