    SO, WHAT WILL THE MUNICIPAL ENGINEER DO_?_

    Our client is seeking a qualified Municipal Engineer work with our engineering team to design capital improvement projects, administer projects that are in construction to verify compliance with the approved plans, and evaluate of public works issues in our municipalities.

    WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE FOR THE MUNICIPAL ENGINEER ?

    You will:

    • Review subdivision plans and site plans submitted by developers for approval.
    • Administer developer sponsored projects that are in construction to verify compliance with the approved plans.
    • Design capital improvement projects inclusive of roadways, stormwater, recreation, and utilities.
    • Evaluate of public works issues in our municipalities.
    • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology.
    • Proactively manage relationships with other team members.
    • Present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
    • Participate in consensus building and resolution of complex technical issues.
    • Take corrective action as necessary to ensure the success of assigned tasks.
    • Be an active participant in your development along your career path.

    WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO YOU LOOK FOR?

    You might be the Municipal Engineer we're looking for if you have:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
    • 2-5 years of residential and/or commercial site design.
    • EIT preferred.
    • Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
    • Knowledge of the planning and zoning process.
    • Effective written and communication skills.
