WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE FOR THE GENERAL CLERK?
- Perform clerical and administrative duties for FPS Region 10 staff.
- Screen telephone calls, visitors, and incoming correspondence.
- Prepare routine non-technical correspondence.
- Make arrangements for conferences and meetings and assemble established background materials as directed.
- Attend and take minutes/notes on meetings' activities and distribute minutes to appropriate personnel.
- Compile, maintain, review, and update data, lists and reports.
- Monitor, coordinate, and maintain a variety of records.
- Back up the Administrative Clerk in Auburn, WA when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO YOU LOOK FOR?
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.
- At least 2 years of experience as a General Clerk.
- Professional experience with Microsoft Windows office programs (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint) and Adobe programs.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
