SO, WHAT WILL THE MUNICIPAL CADD OPERATOR DO?

Our client is seeking a qualified Municipal CADD Operator to perform design, drafting, and project related to municipal land development, road, and utility design.

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE FOR THE MUNICIPAL CADD OPERATOR?

You will:

• Perform design, drafting and project-related tasks on assigned projects. Transforming base map information and designs into CADD produced drawings using appropriate software
• Assist in the setup and drafting of project base maps by analyzing utility drawings and sketches, notes and other input material to determine the best approach for the completion of drawings
• Work with numerous project teams to help in project completion
• Coordinate details and dimensions between drawing sheets
• Progress to drafting water and sewer design information on base

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO YOU LOOK FOR?

You might be the Municipal CADD Operator we're looking for if you have:

• A High School Diploma/Equivalent; Associates Degree or a Certificate from a technical school, preferably in AutoCAD
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D version 2012 or higher, AutoTurn and other related software
• 5+ years of related experience

We're extra impressed by folks with:

• Experience in site/civil, land development, and/or municipal engineering drafting preferred
• Experience in working with GIS data preferred
