SO, WHAT WILL THE CIVIL/SITE PROJECT ENGINEER DO?

Our client is seeking a qualified Civil/Site Project Engineer to perform Land Development Plan, Stormwater Management, Water and Sanitary Sewer, and Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Design.

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE FOR THE CIVIL/SITE PROJECT ENGINEER?

• Design Land Development Plan, Stormwater Management, Water and Sanitary Sewer, and Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Designs
• Managing multiple projects and workload with competing deadlines
• Conduct quality control, regulatory agency permitting, proposal scope, and budget preparation
• Review and oversee projects including invoice preparation, accounts receivable, and project scheduling
• Oversee and  Client management
• Manage clients and mentor and train staff

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO YOU LOOK FOR?

You might be the Civil/Site Project Engineer we're looking for if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 8+ years of site design
• A New Jersey Professional Engineer (PE) registration or the ability to acquire a New Jersey PE through reciprocity within 6 months is required
• Proficiency in technical skills in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrological analyses, grading, and other site development related designs
• Knowledge of local city, county and state land use processes and regulations (NJ)
• Demonstrated Civil 3D skills with the ability to design site layouts concept through completion
• Ability to interact well with coworkers, clients, and regulatory agencies

We're extra impressed by folks with:

• Knowledge of truck turning modeling software
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities
• Construction oversight experience a plus
