    Job Description

    The Talent Acquisition and HR Coordinator is responsible for providing recruitment services to assigned business unit managers and supporting both Talent Acquisition and HR by completing administrative tasks such as posting job ads, new hire onboarding, changes to employee information in the HRIS, and other tasks. The job holder will also be responsible for serving as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, prioritizing employee needs and contributing to a supportive and productive work environment.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Act as the main point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns for assigned business units.
    • Keep accurate, up-to-date digital files on all personnel, including creating new hire files and archiving files of terminated employees.
    • Discuss staffing gaps with hiring managers and subsequently post job ads via SmartRecruiters.
    • Review resumes, select applicants to screen, and set up times to conduct the pre-employment screen.
    • Screen applicants for the specific role, focusing on the basic qualifications of the position and subsequently work with hiring managers to set up interviews or any other tasks related to interviewing candidates.
    • Enter and complete background checks and pre-employment drug screens for all new hires joining TA Services.
    • Keep accurate, up-to-date digital files in Digital Drawer on all team members, including creating new hire files and archiving files of terminated employees.
    • Plan and coordinate company events, such as the annual picnic and holiday meal, to foster employee morale and engagement.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or another focus area that prepared the individual for a role in Human Resources.
    • Previous experience working in an HR or recruiting role preferred but not required.
    • Have a high-level of self-awareness and the ability to self-assess job performance and work to develop their own capabilities and attitudes.

    • Use of computers, phones, and various software including:
    • Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    • ADP – Vantage
    • Hire Right
    • Smart Recruiters
    • Digital Drawer
    • SharePoint

    Working Conditions

    • Safe, climate-controlled office with standard working hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional but non-mandatory overtime.

    • Responsiveness to employee needs
    • Accuracy in administrative tasks

    Pay : $24-25/hr
