    We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager – Skilled Trades to lead recruiting efforts for critical frontline roles—including electricians, mechanics, welders, HVAC technicians, and more. This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll shape hiring strategy, mentor a recruiting team, and ensure SEPTA attracts top-tier trade talent.

    What You’ll Do

    Lead and manage a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists focused on skilled trades hiring

    Develop and execute recruiting strategies to meet high-volume and specialized hiring needs

    Partner with hiring managers and department leaders to forecast workforce needs and improve hiring outcomes

    Build pipelines for hard-to-fill roles in skilled trades and construction-related fields

    Ensure compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) standards and hiring best practices

    Analyze recruiting metrics to improve efficiency, time-to-fill, and candidate quality

    Enhance employer branding to attract top trade talent in a competitive market

    What You Bring

    Required:

    Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of progressive recruiting experience OR

    8+ years of progressive recruiting experience (in lieu of degree)

    Proven experience developing and implementing recruiting strategies

    Strong knowledge of EEO compliance and hiring regulations

    Hands-on experience recruiting skilled trades talent (e.g., electricians, plumbers, carpenters, welders, HVAC technicians)

    At least 2 years directly sourcing and recruiting for skilled trades roles
