At JBNC, we believe that hiring the right people isn’t just about filling roles—it’s about building a team that embodies our mission, values, and vision for community impact. The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a critical role in driving equity-focused recruitment strategies, managing high-volume hiring processes, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience. You’ll partner with hiring managers, support onboarding, and serve as a central hub for talent initiatives, all while advancing JBNC’s commitment to community, inclusion, and neighbor-centered service.

    A Day in the Life

On any given day, you could be crafting compelling job postings, screening candidates, or managing the end-to-end recruitment process for seasonal staff and key roles across departments. You’ll collaborate with hiring managers to address talent gaps, troubleshoot recruitment challenges, and proactively source candidates. Beyond recruitment, you’ll support onboarding, orientation, and HR initiatives, ensuring new team members are welcomed into JBNC’s culture and set up for success. You’ll track recruitment metrics, analyze trends, and implement improvements, all while acting as a trusted resource for staff and leadership. Your role will also include representing JBNC at career fairs, establishing pipelines with community partners, and participating in internal committees that drive employee engagement and organizational culture.
