MARKETING CAMPAIGN ASSOCIATE MANAGER

DESCRIPTION:

The Assoc Marketing Manager will develop integrated marketing tactics, based upon strategies developed by manager, that position and promote PPD services and expertise. Develop and implement tactics for promotional programs, service positioning, advertising programs, sales collateral and other messaging to create consistent, effective promotion of PPD services worldwide.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Proven strategic marketing skills
• Thorough understanding of integrated marketing communications for product and corporate positioning
• Experience in developing plans that integrate the following elements of the marketing mix: promotional tactics, sales collateral, direct mail, Web-based marketing, trade shows, advertising and market research analysis
• Basic understanding of how Web-based marketing and public relations coordinate with integrated marketing programs for service promotions and corporate brand alignment
• Demonstrated initiative and strategic thinking
• Experience working with a sales force
• Strong analytical skills
• Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills
• Works well under pressure
• Effectively prioritizes and manages multiple projects
• Excellent planning, organizational and project management skills
• Experience in managing outside agencies in order to fulfill project objectives
• Skilled in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and proficient with the Internet.
