    Job Description

    The Talent Relations Coordinator will administratively and operationally support the Senior Director of Talent Relations and provide talent relations, event and admin support to the entire TR team.

    Responsibilities:

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Help support talent relations efforts for Universal Television Entertainment Group’s Scripted Talent Relations team which includes Peacock and NBC
    • Perform admin tasks including managing calendars, setting time for meetings, updating team docs, taking project notes, securing Peacock codes, tracking talent preferences, supporting the maintenance of talent lists and databases, and more.
    • Assist the Talent Relations team with booking talent travel, creating schedules and coordinating on-site coverage, as necessary.
    • Coordinate and facilitate talent participation at key network initiatives including photo shoots, promo shoots, marketing shoots, social media promotion, affiliate and ad sales requests, as well as charity and industry events
    • Manage and maintain rep contact sheets, master talent relations questionnaire and database.
    • Manage and maintain the talent birthday database.
    • Work with larger TR team to coordinate talent gifting and ticketing.
    • Process and track charitable contributions.
    • Develop positive relationships with talent and their representatives, producers and their teams, internal development staff and publicity counterparts in order to assist in talent retention and cross-functional efforts.
    • Process and reconcile invoices, purchasing card and expenses in a timely manner.
    • Provide administrative support for Sr. Director as needed
    • Provide administrative support for other team leaders when they come to NYC
    • Other related duties as assigned by management
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Basic Requirements:

    • Minimum 1 year of experience in talent relations, publicity, media or entertainment
    • Available for minimal travel
    • Ability to exercise a high level of discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information
    • Willing to work unanticipated overtime, and on weekends with short notice
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Knowledge of current events and people within the entertainment industry is preferred
    • Ability to juggle a heavy workflow and meet numerous deadlines and shifting priorities
    • Self-motivated and able to prioritize work and multitask over a wide range of responsibilities
    • Individual must exhibit strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and with a team
    • Superior organization skills and high attention to detail
    • Highly resourceful and problem solver, even under pressure
    • Polished and professional manner when interacting with talent, reps, executives and key stakeholders
    • Confident presence and strong communication skills no matter who’s in the room

    Additional Requirements:

    • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
