    Job Description

    Talent Solutions Group Inc is searching for a Lead Engineering Proposal Coordinator / Sales Associate for a Green Energy Solution organization located in Sacramento. The perfect person for the position will proposes technical solutions and coordinate proposals. This includes gathering information and creating detailed proposals, submitting proposals to clients and following up.

    MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Engineering Bachelor’s Degree plus 2 years’ Automation/SCADA solar PV experience or 2+ years' proposal/estimating experience AND solid understanding of utility-scale solar PV projects and all related SCADA equipment.
    • STRONG COMMAND OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE; EXCELLENT WRITTEN AND VERBAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
    • Assists the Director of Business Development in vetting out new solutions development prior to bringing to market
    • Travels to visit prospective clients (EPCs and Owners) to provide in-person presentations (and demos) as requested by the Director of Business Development in order to effectively explain, capabilities (solutions and services), and project experience.
    • Ability to stay on top of customer email (and phone) correspondences and respond within maximum of one day turnaround.
    • Ability to analyze, understand and extract from customer specs what should be applied to proposal template.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain client and peer relationships. Ability to build rapport in an engaging and energetic manner.
    • Ability to initiate, plan and carry out responsibilities with minimal direction
    • Creates and tracks prospects and proposals using HUBSPOT.
    • Continually maintains accuracy of HUBSPOT information for company use.

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develops, maintains and nurtures new and existing customer relationships.
    • Understands company’s products, solutions, and services in order to be able to accurately market and articulate company capabilities to existing and prospective clients.
    • Tracks proposal history to correlate with job costing information.
    • When time permits, assists with other Business Development, Sales and Marketing strategy initiatives, including but not limited to: Energy Acuity (solar database) data mining and reports generation; look for new and innovative ways to attract new opportunities, assist in email campaigns and setting up introductory phone calls for Sales team.
    • Provides solutions demos for customers as required
    • Representation at various industry trade shows and conferences, if required
