    Job Description

    Our client a financial services and digital payments company is seeking a TAX RESOLUTION SPECIALIST who will play an integral role in handling customer tax filing and payment escalation inquiries. We are looking for an experienced customer support problem solver with keen attention to detail, experience with implementing process improvements, and strong critical thinking skills to help us deliver quality support to our client customers.

     

    This position is a remote 3-MONTH CONTRACT. You must be in the US, no H1B Visa status. Hourly rate + benefits through Talent Table.

     

    AS A TAX RESOLUTION SPECIALIST, YOU WILL:

    ·       Be an expert at resolving complex payroll issues and assessments that come through service cloud, ensuring our customer’s questions are answered in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.

    ·       Documenting, improving, and scaling the tax escalations team by implementing process automation and reducing common customer issues.

    ·       Identify, document, and solve issues that may arise as a result of customer error or product bugs/limitations.

    ·       Identify gaps in our policies and inefficiencies in how we work together and collaborate with sales, support, tax operations and product to define and implement improvements.

    ·       Work with Federal and State tax agencies to resolve any customer tax issues.

    ·       Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, tax, business, or equivalent.

    ·       2-4 years of experience in tax and or payroll tax, experience with federal and state payroll tax filings a plus

    ·       Self-motivation with the desire for ownership and ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, ever changing and innovative environment while working collaboratively across multiple functions.

    ·       Strong attention to detail and accuracy, passionate about improving workflows and process.

    ·       Excellent interpersonal and writing skills, comfortable communicating with our customers over phone and email.

    ·       Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
