    Job Description

    Our client, a financial services and digital payments company is seeking an OPERATIONS SPECIALIST, PAYROLL PRODUCT.

     

    This position is a remote 3-MONTH CONTRACT. You must be in the US, no H1B Visa status. Hourly rate + benefits through Talent Table.

     

    AS AN OPERATIONS SPECIALIST, PAYROLL PRODUCT YOU WILL:

    • Play an integral role in resolving failed tax debits and other internal operational needs. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented and have excellent interpersonal skills to effectively work with the Client’s Payroll customers on the phone and through email.
    • Communicate directly via email and phone with the Client’s Payroll customers in order to resolve outstanding taxes.
    • Collaborate with the Client’s Payroll team to identify improvements in customer experience for failed debits process.
    • Surface opportunities to improve tools, workflow, and customer experience.
    • Assist with quarterly tax filings and tax payments for the Client’s Payroll customers.
    • Ensure a high level of customer service when assisting customers.
    • Perform research on existing and emerging tax laws, requirements, and regulations.

     

    SKILLS:

    • Excellent communication skills over email, phone, and in-person.
    • 2+ years of experience in payroll, accounting, finance, or relevant professional experience.
    • Tech savvy – Excel experience is a plus.
    • Strong attention to detail and loves working with customers.
    • Relevant work experience (2-3 years or more).
