Job Description
Our client, a financial services and digital payments company is seeking an OPERATIONS SPECIALIST, PAYROLL PRODUCT.
This position is a remote 3-MONTH CONTRACT. You must be in the US, no H1B Visa status. Hourly rate + benefits through Talent Table.
AS AN OPERATIONS SPECIALIST, PAYROLL PRODUCT YOU WILL:
- Play an integral role in resolving failed tax debits and other internal operational needs. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented and have excellent interpersonal skills to effectively work with the Client’s Payroll customers on the phone and through email.
- Communicate directly via email and phone with the Client’s Payroll customers in order to resolve outstanding taxes.
- Collaborate with the Client’s Payroll team to identify improvements in customer experience for failed debits process.
- Surface opportunities to improve tools, workflow, and customer experience.
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and tax payments for the Client’s Payroll customers.
- Ensure a high level of customer service when assisting customers.
- Perform research on existing and emerging tax laws, requirements, and regulations.
SKILLS:
- Excellent communication skills over email, phone, and in-person.
- 2+ years of experience in payroll, accounting, finance, or relevant professional experience.
- Tech savvy – Excel experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and loves working with customers.
- Relevant work experience (2-3 years or more).
