    POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT: Logistics Grant Coordinator (Contact Tracing)

    Do you have a passion for public health in Maine? Medical Care Development, Inc. (MCD), a non-profit, public health services organization, is accepting applications for a public health professional to join our team and serve as a Logistics Grant Coordinator working with the State of Maine CDC Contact Tracing Program (The Department). This position will provide grant coordination services through logistics coordination for the Contact Tracing Program. This full-time 40-hour per week position will be housed at the Maine CDC office in Augusta. This is a one-year grant-funded project. This position is eligible for MCD’s benefit package.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Developing schedules to ensure seven (7) day a week coverage.
    • Ensuring proper equipment and supplies are available to staff.
    • Tracking resources.
    • Reviewing and updating quality improvement and performance metrics.

    Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

    Required:

    A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in public health or related field and six (6) months of supervisory experience. This position also requires strong experience with word processing software, email and internet use, spreadsheets, and data entry.

    • Ability to exercise good judgment within a context of competing priorities, agendas, and partner sensitivities.
    • Highly motivated self-starter with ability to work independently, from office or in the community.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills - communication, networking, group facilitation.
    • Ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities, and have a sense of urgency with deadlines.
    • Strong communication skills: ability to listen well, write, and speak effectively.
