    Our rapidly growing team is looking for a Head of Communications to oversee our full communications scope, in Europe and the Americas. Reporting to the Vice President of global communications, the role is responsible for executing our global communications strategy across PR and media, digital and social media and employee and stakeholder engagement, specifically driving delivery in Europe and the US in line with business objectives. It supports message creation, thought leadership and strategy development and plays an important advisory role to the senior leaders, working closely with business unit leaders and customers to raise the profile of ECARX.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • In partnership with the Vice President, Communications, develop, deliver, and own an international communications strategy that promotes ECARX’s business ambitions across all channels, in support of the global strategy.
    • Proactively identifying positive communication opportunities, for internal and external audiences, to help build the ECARX brand and drive employee engagement.
    • Secure and deliver a strong and consistent editorial calendar across all communication channels including social media, that is fully aligned with and inclusive of global opportunities.
    • Execute an international media engagement plan to secure widespread, positive media coverage, that is fully aligned with and inclusive of global opportunities.
    • Develop and execute a national employee communication plan to ensure team members remain focused and engaged in the development of the business.
    • Manage any potential negative or crisis situations, to minimise potential risks to the brand.
    • Lead, motivate and develop a team of cross-channel communicators to ensure effective delivery of the national and global communication plans.
    • Advise senior leaders on all communication issues, including media training, briefing and preparation for interviews and employee communication events.

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s (Master’s preferred) degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, and/or Business Administration.
    • Experience in leading the strategic development of multi-channel communication strategies including drafting and editing written communication, planning and executing media events, managing employee and leadership communications, helping leaders and employees embrace change.
    • A proven track record of success in a tech-focused company, demonstrating the ability to translate complex issues into understandable messages.
    • Ability to operate with confidence and integrity at the most senior level of a company, advising and supporting C-suite personnel.
    • Ability to manage ambiguity, rapidly evolving situations and to support and lead team members through the same.
    • Extensive practical experience, hands-on mentality, and a can-do attitude.
    • Project management skills: ability to handle multiple projects and meet budget and deadlines.
    • People skills with experience working and collaborating at all levels and with all functions.
    • Problem-solving skills, excellent influencing skills and an effective team player

      This role requires 4 days on-site in the office
