    Our client, a leader in Energy Supply Chain Management, is recruiting a Supply Chain Management Team Lead. The SCM Team Lead is responsible for ensuring process control and driving digital efficiencies across the company's Supply Chain Management operations. This includes oversight of propriety systems as well as documented processes and operating standards. The individual will have a team of 5-7 direct reports, with additional resources allocated on a project-by-project basis. Leading this team through a transformational period in the energy industry and the company's strategic direction will be key.

    Strong collaboration and problem solving skills are essential, building cross-functional solutions with Operations, Quality, HSSE and IT Leadership.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Management of 5-7 direct reports; responsible for their professional development, leading them through a period of significant change, and being accountable for the entirety of their yearly performance cycle.
    2. Monitor existing global operational Key Performance Indicators; work with corporate management to establish new global indicators and process controls.
    3. Serve as the Lead Auditor for internal audits conducted on the company's global operations
    4. Prioritize global enhancement requests for the business unit's proprietary Inventory Management System in collaboration with IT leadership
    5. Partner with IT on data visualization, reporting and analysis tools for global operations; ensure alignment with Data Analytics Lead
    6. Collaborate with Implementation Team Leads in vetting new IT innovation opportunities with Digital team to determine specifications, fit for purpose, and timeliness.
    7. Consolidate and present monthly and quarterly inventory-related updates to corporate management teams
    8. Support global relationships with the company's key global customers, including systems integration, project management quarterly reporting consolidation

    4. Ability to give professional presentations and reports for internal and external audiences.
    5. Knowledge of the complete OCTG supply chain from demand planning through consumption.
    6. Understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles.
    7. Management skills to train, mentor, and develop and lead a team, and influence the actions and development of teams across the business unit.

    Minimum Requirements

    1. BS degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
    2. Minimum 5 years of experience in oil and gas drilling supply chain management support.
    3. Thorough understanding of the application of OCTG and OCTG accessories in a drilling environment.
    4. Familiarity with, or capacity to learn, propriety Inventory Management Tools, and other company-supported systems.
    5. Intermediate computer skills for data visualization, analysis, presentations, and correspondence (Microsoft Office Suite)
    6. Previous experience working in an OCTG environment considered a plus

    Work Conditions

    Office environment in Houston, TX. Domestic and International travel required <30% of the year.
