Job Summary:
We are seeking an exceptional team leader to join our Distribution department. Daily tasks to be prioritized, RE-prioritized, driven and monitored by this key role to ensure timely, accurate, and SAFE execution of our distribution function. The Distribution lead is a role that leads by example, but also trains, mentors and inspires the team through direction, education and actions focusing on not just the HOW, but also the WHY for sustained and consistent results. It’s important that any the ideal candidate has a calm, collected, and solution oriented view on any situation that may arise.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assessing the daily workload and deadlines prioritize, assign and participate in the execution of all distribution functions, including but not limited to: Receiving, Picking, packing, loading, unloading, and inventory management. (this is NOT a “sit behind a desk” role)
? Help maintain a culture of accountability though coaching and motivating team members to meet and exceed expectations.
? Ensure yourself AND team are preserving a safe work atmosphere. (It is everyone’s job to keep each other safe.)
? Plan and lead daily inventory activities such as cycle counting, stock rotation, and strategic placements to set up the team for success.
? Provides exceptional customer service by leading the team in following organization standards and customer order specifications.
? Works extremely close with Warehouse Manager to identify and swiftly resolve any performance or personnel issues.
? Completes daily/weekly/monthly reports as needed by entering required information into data base.
? Loading and un-loading trucks and containers.
? Collaborative engagement with your team and leadership team to ensure the operation is always improving.

Required Skills/Abilities:
? Proven working experience as a Warehouse Leader
? HIGH attention to detail
? Strong math skills and verbal communication
? Ability to lead a team through direction and action
? Experience in a WMS a MUST (RF Scanners/Hand-held computers)
? Expertise in inventory software, databases and systems
? Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
? Ability to safely lift heavy product
? Must be competent, dedicated and trustworthy
? Ability to work overtime as needed

Education and Experience:
? High school diploma or GED
? 2+ years of leadership/supervisor experience
? 3+ years of Warehouse/Inventory control
? Forklift Certification within 90 days of job entry date
