Job Description:

Contract to Hire opportunity to join a leading Aerospace Manufacturing Company with opportunities on 1st shift.

Under minimal supervision responsibilities may include assembly, forming, finishing, material removal, inspection, rework and repair of assembly components and parts, per customer specification, operation of machines, hand and power tools, gages and measuring instruments, fabrication of temporary tooling, tooling maintenance and first level maintenance. Acts as mentor for junior Technicians

Key Responsibilities:
1) Grind, deburr and form parts using expanders, hot dye presses and rolls. Cuts chem- mill maskant to prepare parts for chem-milling. Works to close tolerances.

2) Maintains a clean work environment (including assigned storage and cleaning duties) in full compliance with company standards, customer and government regulations.

3) Ensures the company's commitment to maintain a safe workplace and to protect the environment through the establishment and support of Company policy and adherence to various government regulations.

Required Qualification:

• High School diploma or GED or in lieu of a degree 5+ years metal fabrication experience and machine operation will be considered.
• 1+ years metal fabrication experience or machine operation in a manufacturing setting.
• 2+ years experience working with complex process in a manufacturing environment.
• U.S. Citizenship per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance and site SSA requirements.
