Job Summary:
Manufacturing Production Workers support operations through the preparation of all materials and/or products for further processing. Duties include but are not limited to prep, clean, fabricate, deburr, inspection, paint, welding, and/or blending.
Job Responsibilities:
- Follows work operations sheets/work travelers for production.
- Inspects parts to insure readiness for various production processes
- Checks all work to assure that quality standards are maintained for production
- Loads and unloads parts, operate forklift as needed, and run overhead crane to move parts for production
- Maintains a clean work environment
- Maintain a safe workplace and protect the environment throughout
- Performs other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Prior work experience supporting production lines and/or manufacturing operations
- Must be willing to work in a repetitive production environment with concern for meeting cost, quality and schedule requirements.
- Ability to work as a team player as well as independently is required.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend English instructions
- Basic Math skills
- Manual dexterity
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Lift up to 20 pounds
- Withstand loud noise of a machine shop environment
- Must be able to wear full encapsulating/air fed body suit when required
