    Job Duties:

    • Report and Assist the CEO in the development and execution of short and long-term strategic planning
    • Develop and oversee a high-performing finance team.
    • Assess and grow a financial infrastructure to drive operational excellence in all areas related to the finance function.
    • Oversee all matters related to the design and implementation of systems related to accounting, finance, budgeting, insurance, payroll and taxes.
    • Manage the financial reporting of key performance metrics as required by the CEO and senior management, as well as by the company’s senior and mezzanine lenders and investors.
    • Manage the treasury function for the company to include asset liability management, liquidity projections and forecasting.
    • Ensure efficient access to capital and the optimization of the company’s funding sources, balance sheet and overall cost of capital in both private and public debt markets.
    • Coach, mentor and assist in the training and development of finance professionals as needed by the company from time to time.
    • Work to identify potential acquisition.
    • Design, implement and oversee a system and atmosphere of control, discipline and superior service to all stakeholders within the organization.

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business with strong finance and accounting training and experience.
    • A CPA is highly preferred for consideration, as is an MBA.
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience as CFO.
    • Experience within B2B financial services, and more specifically the area of SMB lending, is a plus.
    • An ascending career in financial oversight, control and management, as well as overall strategic design and execution.
    • Exceptional people skills, effective in establishing, maintaining and continually improving relationships with colleagues, lenders, investors and other stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated track record of highly effective financial management skills, with exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication abilities, all deployed within a professional, team-oriented environment.
    • A history of meeting or exceeding an assigned P&L targets and ratios.
    • A strong aptitude for lateral thinking and creative problem solving.
