    Job Summary

    Opportunity to join a leading Aerospace company involved in shaping the future of flight. Our client develops, builds and supplies advanced aerospace systems, components and sustainable technologies for use in aircraft ranging from business jets and wide bodies to the most used single aisle aircraft and the world's first all-electric commuter aircraft.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Program Managers ensure the execution of the program (including changes) to comply with all the business case and contractual requirements for their products.
    • Continuously monitor program execution including tracking all program cost, schedules and performance and reporting progress against program milestones and life cycle gates with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
    • Identify customer tiered milestones and align the PMP and IMS to ensure all milestones will be achieved on schedule and on budget.
    • Ensure customer requirements are documented, understood, assessed and integrated into the Program Management Plan (PMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and appropriate budgets are assigned to complete all tasks to deliver the requirements.
    • Create, implement, and advocate program improvement plans including but not limited to those related to affordability, pricing, continuous improvement, Zero Defects Manufacturing, and engineering design initiatives.
    • Oversee change and manage growth on the program, executing Bids and Proposals activities to coordinate cost budget, schedule and technical compliance to meet the requirements of the customer. Ensure contract negotiation aligns to approved business case, statement of work and requirements.
    • Serve as the voice of the customer; establish and maintain constructive, collaborative, and teaming environment with the customer community.
    • Define the vision, strategy, and budget for the program to deliver sales, profit, margin, inventory, quality, delivery and cash received in accordance with annual operating plans.
    • Proactively executes risk, issue and opportunity management to control and mitigate the risk exposure and exploit opportunities.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor degree in mechanical, chemical, aerospace, manufacturing, operations management, finance, business, or related fields of study
    • 5 years of leadership experience in aerospace and/or aircraft defense or military product manufacturing industries
    • U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance and site SSA requirements

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Proven track record in the management of complex aerospace programs either within the military or as a prime or major subcontractor; with working knowledge of EVMS management
    • In depth knowledge of the Aerospace Defense industry
    • Advanced problem solving skills and knowledge of program management tools and procedures
    • Advanced customer/stakeholder relationship building skills
    • Demonstrated Leadership and team building skills to include fostering collaborative and positive cultures, formal and informal influencing skills, and team empowerment and motivation expertise
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
