    We are partnered with a progressive and culture-driven company in Irvine California seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic HR Generalist to join their HR department! The HR Generalist will provide support to the HR department and its various functions including policy implementation, employee relations, benefits administration, recruitment, payroll, and training and development. We are seeking someone that aligns with our company culture and values being a part of an innovative and progressive organization.

    *This is a direct-hire opportunity that is currently remote/hybrid and does require on-site work (in Irvine, CA) 2 days per week.

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Supports the implementation of HR strategies, programs, procedures, and initiatives to enable the achievement of short and long-term business objectives in a fast-paced environment.
    • Partners with the HR team to curate training and development programs aligned with company goals and objectives.
    • Provides support for all HR initiatives, projects, and employee inquires.
    • Accurately completes and processes company-wide payroll (using ADP Workforce Now) and generates reports.
    • Provides support for administering health and welfare plans as well as works with retirement plans. Processes required documentation to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
    • Counsels employees on plan provisions so that individuals can make informed decisions on benefits. Resolves employee concerns related to health and welfare plans.
    • Manages employee open enrollment benefits and 401K enrollment.
    • Communicates all leave of absences, PTO, time off requests, and workers’ comp.
    • Conducts new employee onboarding and orientations to ensure employees complete required paperwork and begin to develop a better understanding of the company.
    • Conducts and manages the process for employee educational training such as anti-harassment, HIPAA
    • Responsible for all personnel record management; scans, maintains all Personnel files electronically.

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Resources or equivalent
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
    • Proficient with health plan benefits, and payroll systems like ADP, 401K programs
    • Multi-state experience is highly desirable
    • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to employment (i.e., discrimination and harassment, wage and hours, etc.)
    • Experience and expertise in administering employee benefit plans.
    • Current California driver’s license and clean driving record
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and excellent interpersonal skills
    • Strong emotional intelligence and leadership skills
