    We are partnered with a growing company in the Brea, CA area seeking an experienced Director of Recruitment to join their team! The Director of Recruitment is directly responsible in developing the talent acquisition strategy and overseeing the entire process of finding, evaluating, and hiring the best talent available. They will promote communication and outcomes that support attracting a high-performing, diverse, and sustainable talent pipeline to support organizational and functional HR initiatives and generate business results.

    *This is a direct hire and onsite position.

    Core Duties:

    • Builds a talent pipeline, applicant pool, and recruiting procedure that are adequate to meet the company's hiring and growth plan needs.

    • Develops strong, good connections with important corporate decision-makers and hiring managers to assist in identifying labor requirements and carrying out recruitment strategy.

    • Establishes guidelines and negotiates agreements with third-party recruiting networks, organizations, and advertising partners (such as trade schools, staffing firms, job boards, and recruitment systems) in order to use their resources to attract talent. Attends hiring activities (job fairs) as required.

    • Uses the application tracking system to its fullest potential to guarantee a satisfying candidate experience, accurate reporting metrics, and thorough automation.

    • Creates a strategy and carries it out for training and learning on the best methods for hiring personnel. Promotes proactive management in collaboration with corporate executives.

    • Manages the complete recruitment cycle (sourcing, pre-screening, assessments, work within ATS, background checks, substance screening, create offer letters, etc.). Offers guidance to hiring managers and recruiters regarding legal requirements (interviewing, ban-the-box, adverse action, etc.).

    • Ensures that all federal, state, and local laws and regulations are followed with regard to hiring and onboarding.

    • Handles other HR tasks and special projects as needed.

    What we’re looking for:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field required.

    • 10+ years of experience in Sourcing, Recruiting or/and Talent Acquisition.

    • Experience in construction, trades or field services industries is a big plus.

    • Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred.

    • Has working knowledge and practical expertise with online and in-person networking and recruitment tools, such as job boards, social media, and conventional recruiting techniques (job fairs, college programs, trade groups, etc.).

    • Experience integrating acquired entities and managing change. Knowledge of fundamental HR laws and regulations as they relate to the employment process preferred.

    • Capable of managing team and individual duties at the team in a fast - paced environment with plenty active goals and projects.

    • Experience with client relationship/client relationship software, digital branding, and applicant tracking systems (ATS).

    • Capable of working with mathematical ideas like statistical inference and probability.
