    We are partnered with a growing and exciting company seeking a dedicated Human Resources Generalist to join the team! The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for various tasks across multiple functions, including payroll and benefits administration, managing leaves of absence, handling worker's compensation, training, managing performance, facilitating onboarding, implementing policies, handling recruitment and employment processes, overseeing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. It is essential for this individual to possess exceptional organizational skills, flexibility, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

    *This is a direct hire and hybrid position in Riverside, CA (onsite for training).

    Core Duties:

    • Oversees the hiring process. Works together with managers to determine the needs for employment, find, interview, select, and onboard qualified applicants

    • Administer bi-weekly payroll, involving the analysis, preparation, and input of payroll data, encompassing aspects such as garnishments, vacation time, sick time, insurance, and 401(k) deductions.

    • Participates in and attends employee investigations, terminations, and disciplinary sessions.

    • Oversees a variety of HR plans and practices for all employees of the organization; participates in the creation and execution of HR policies and practices.

    • Organize and conduct meetings aimed at providing employees with information about and understanding of company benefits; ensure the distribution of required employee notices.

    • Develop and uphold an affirmative action program, filing the EEO-1 report annually, and maintaining records, reports, and logs to comply with EEO regulations.

    • Compile data and prepare the yearly submission of OSHA and worker’s compensation reports for insurance purposes.

    • Address employee relations issues, appropriately referring them to the Senior HR Manager.

    • Carries out exit interviews as well as stay interviews in collaboration with managers. keeps track of trend data reports in order to create proactive staff retention plans.

    • Keep up-to-date personnel records in HRIS and other databases.

    What we’re looking for:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required

    • Must have at least five (5) years of experience as an HR Generalist and using an HRIS

    • At least 3 years of experience in payroll processing is a must

    • Familiarity with Kronos is a plus

    • Working familiarity with CA wage and hour legislation at an intermediate level.

    • Thorough understanding of various employment laws and FMLA rules.

    • Capacity to operate both individually and cooperatively in a group setting

    • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle several tasks
