The HR Generalist will be responsible for administering and supporting HR functional areas and understanding of HR policies, practices and procedures. Core Duties:
Supports the implementation of HR strategies, programs, procedures, and initiatives to enable the achievement of short and long-term business objectives in a fast-paced environment.
Utilizes conflict resolution skills to address employee issues and successfully handle Employee relations
Respond to a large number of inbound phone calls on a variety of HR-related matters from Store Associates, Store Management, Support Associates, and occasionally the General Public
Assist with general policy and procedure questions and transactions
Maintains confidential employee files and records in electronic and paper form
Ensures compliance with all local, state and federal labor regulations
Provide a front-line resource for Associate Relations support including intaking information and writing supporting documents
Create general performance management documents and compile reports/data as needed for Operations and Human Resources
Other projects and duties as assigned
What we’re looking for:
At least 1-2 years of HR experience with employee relations experience preferred
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication, or related field
Bilingual skills are a plus
HR Certifications are a plus
Store Associate and/or Management experience is strongly preferred
Requires a comprehensive knowledge of Human Resources and its disciplines
Must have demonstrated capability in problem solving and conflict resolution
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong emotional intelligence and decision making skills
Strong computer proficiency; Excellent in MS Office applications
