    We are seeking an accomplished and passionate Sr. HR Generalist to positively impact our corporate organization! The Sr. HR Generalist will spearhead several HR initiatives with the guidance of the HR Manager including talent acquisition/recruitment, training and development, employee relations, benefits administration, and payroll. We are seeking someone that aligns with our company culture and values being a part of an innovative and progressive organization. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Partner with hiring Managers to identify open positions to properly post opportunities
    • Monitor talent acquisition processes and make improvement suggestions to effectively attract talent
    • Design and implement employee retention strategies
    • Facilitate and guide talent reviews and succession management discussions
    • Spearhead Training and Development programs; design, implement and maintain appropriate programs for various department and ensure consistency throughout the organization
    • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
    • Oversee all aspects of employee relations and ensure company policies are administered fairly and consistently
    • Conduct employee investigations and oversee all escalated employee issues
    • Provide consultation, advice and employee relations support to multiple Managers and employees consistent with HR policies and procedures
    • Acts as an employee advocate. Handle sensitive communication and correspondence
    • Knowledgeable on employment law and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations
    • Keeps abreast of Human Resource and industry trends and makes appropriate recommendations
    • Support the implementation of HR strategies, programs and initiatives to enable the achievement of short and long-term business objectives
    • Handle benefits administration to include assisting employees with the completion of enrollment in benefit plans, accessing services/benefits as well as administering annual open enrollment and employee benefit education programs
    • Maintain and file electronic and paper personnel records, update Human Resources Information systems (HRIS) and other HR records
    • Process new hires and terminations while maintaining confidentiality of employee records
    • Coordinate employee on-boarding, orientation and provides appropriate training programs
    • Assist with oversight on payroll procession and assist when needed

     

    Qualifications:

    • 7+ years of experience in Human Resources with heavy emphasis on Talent Acquisition and Training and Development
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management related field
    • PHR or SPHR (or equivalent HR Certificate) is greatly preferred
    • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to employment (i.e., discrimination and harassment, wage and hours, etc.)
    • Intermediate skills working with MS Office and able to learn new programs quickly
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality
    • Expert knowledge of employment regulations, EEO requirements, comp & benefits, worker’s compensation, disability and other related human resource principles and practices.
