    We are partnered with a manufacturing company seeking an experienced Compensation and Benefits Analyst. The Compensation and Benefits Analyst is an essential role and member of the operational and strategic HR team who will work under the Vice President of HR's supervision and will be responsible for developing employee compensation and benefits policies.

    This is a direct-hire and onsite position.

    Core Duties:

    • Develops an effective, equitable compensation strategy for the leadership team in collaboration with all divisions.

    • Notifies staff members of benefit changes and developments, such as eligibility, coverage and advertising rules.

    • Oversees the administration of employee insurance programs, such as life, disability, 401(K), and health insurance.

    • Completes the necessary recordkeeping, reporting, and other paperwork in accordance with federal, state, and provider regulations including business audits.

    • A basic understanding of the laws and rules governing the administration of benefits (such as the ADA, FLMA, CFRA, §125, DOL, and IRS rules and regulations).

    • Proven track record in managing multiple leaves of absence and workplace modifications.

    • Creates dynamic models and tools to streamline operations and analyze compensation data.

    • Evaluates jobs and their associated responsibilities to establish whether they should be classified as exempt or non-exempt and the appropriate pay scale.

    • Holds focus groups to get input from workers on particular subjects or problems pertaining to compensation and benefits.

    • Assures the accuracy of compensation-related items in the HRIS in collaboration with the HRIS Manager (i.e., UKG). Investigates and suggests adjustments to UKG business procedures to enhance output and usefulness.

    • Maintains help texts and template management.

    • Contributes to the creation, execution, and presentation of compensation programs, policies, and procedures. Makes modifications to processes and procedures, as well as compensation, when necessary.

    • Capability to resolve compensation-related concerns through independent analysis, assessment, and deductive reasoning skills

    • Proven quantitative, qualitative, and comparative analytical and evaluative skills.

    What we’re looking for:

    • At least 5 years of experience in compensation or benefits programs administration.

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Finance, or related field. SHRM-SCP preferred.

    • Comprehensive understanding of COBRA, hippa, and erisa.

    • Must have previous experience designing and restructuring compensation in a large organization environment.

    • Experience integrating multiple benefits programs into a company framework is required.

    • Excellent benefits-related negotiating experience.

    • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite or similar programs.

    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

    • Strategic approach and cooperative mindset with the management team and HR department team members.
