Human Resources Coordinator

We are seeking an eager and motivated HR Coordinator to join our vibrant team! The HR Coordinator will provide support to the HR department and its’ various functions including benefits administration, recruitment, payroll, and corporate office administration. We are seeking someone that aligns with our company culture and values being a part of an innovative and progressive organization. This is a direct-hire opportunity.
Core Responsibilities:
- Maintain and file electronic and paper personnel records, update Human Resources Information systems (HRIS) and other HR records.
- Coordinate employee onboarding, facilitate new hire orientations, and provides appropriate training programs.
- Source, screen, and recruit for new openings and develop/revise job descriptions to be posted on the job boards
- Assist with benefits administration and open-enrollment to include assisting employees with the completion of enrollment in benefit plans, accessing services/benefits as well as administering annual open enrollment and employee benefit education programs
- Provide administrative support to the HR department as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Human Resources experience
- Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to employment (i.e., discrimination and harassment, wage and hours, etc.)
- Intermediate skills working with MS Office and able to learn new programs quickly
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
