    We are partnered with a growing company in the Los Angeles/Corona, CA area seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Human Resources Business Partner to join their team! The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) offers direction and guidance to managers and staff members in various locations, gives company executives recommendations on a range of employee relations-related matters, such as coaching and counseling for managers and staff as well as concerns with performance, compliance, and regulations. The HRBP will also serve as a change agent for creating and implementing new HR initiatives.

    *This is a direct hire and hybrid position.

    Core Duties:

    • Carries out the role of a subject matter expert for compliance and policy guidance in HR-related matters.

    • Conducts efficient, extensive, and fair investigations to resolve all employee relations issues.

    • Keeps up-to-date understanding of the law's standards for managing employees on a day-to-day basis.

    • Working with and through the Talent Acquisition Team, supporting leadership in the identification of new roles, talent assessment, and recruiting new talent for key roles.S

    • Suggests ways to increase employee engagement and retention based on information from exit interviews and engagement surveys.

    • Ensures a great employee experience through onboarding initiatives, orientations, ad hoc training, and management counseling.

    • Oversees HR processes such as performance reviews, promotions, transfers, terminations, and annual and one-time pay increases.

    • Uses data from HRIS, ERP, training, and safety systems to generate ongoing and on-demand advanced HR analytics and reports.

    • Uses data-driven metrics to create recommendations for enhancing organizational and business performance.

    What we’re looking for:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field required.

    • HR Certification with one or more recognized certification programs (SHRM-CP/SCP, HRCI-PHR/SPHR, etc.) is highly preferred.

    • 5+ years of experience as a Generalist or HR Business partner and experience in construction, trades or field services industries a big plus.

    • Working knowledge of integrating acquired companies and experience in adapting to change management.

    • Knowledge of HR laws and regulations for California and surrounding states.

    • Capable of managing multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment by tracking and prioritizing tasks.

    • Capable of defining issues, gathering information, establishing facts, making reliable judgments, and resolving issues at a practical level

    • Familiarity or experience with timekeeping, payroll processing applications, and HCM (human capital management) systems.
