    We are excited to be partnered with a growing company in the Newport Beach, CA area seeking an HR Generalist to join their HR Department. The HR Generalist will be responsible for administering and supporting HR functional areas including: payroll, recruitment, orientation, onboarding and understanding of HR policies, practices and procedures. This position also has the crucial task of complying with all local, state, and federal regulations for HR. The ideal candidate will be organized, experienced, and a dedicated strategist and planner.

    **This is a direct hire position that will require onsite work full-time.

    Core Duties:

    • Assist with all Human Resources related functions to ensure execution and administration of company policies and practices including work comp, leaves of absences, unemployment, MVR checks, etc.

    • Use Paycom to process bi-weekly payroll, commission calculations, and analysis in a timely manner.

    • Administer procedures for recruitment, new hires, transfers, promotions, compensation and terminations.

    • Partner with the managers to facilitate timely processing of all employment related paperwork.

    • Serve as point person for applicant tracking and performance review system.

    • Work with Corporate HR when issues arise to correct and resolve.

    • Administer and monitor the recruitment and selection process to ensure employment opportunities are widely disseminated within the appropriate communities against established criteria to identify qualified applicants.

    • Work with recruiting managers and hiring managers on job postings and position requirements to review applicants and determine if minimum qualifications are met.

    • Promote positive employee relations.

    • Partner with Corporate HR and/or market leaders on employee concerns/issues as needed.

    • Promote and maintain a flexible, cooperative, team oriented and customer focused environment within and between departments.

    What were looking for:

    • 3-4+ years of experience in Human Resources

    • 1+ years of payroll processing experience

    • A Bachelor’s degree is required

    • Paycom experience is highly desired

    • Deep understanding of Labor Law and employment equity regulations

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines

    • Remarkable organizational and conflict management skills
