We are excited to be partnered with an exciting & well-known company in the beauty industry! We are currently looking for a dynamic Benefits & Leaves Administrator to join this growing organization!
The Benefits & Leaves Administrator will make determinations regarding eligibility, coverage and benefit amounts due. The individual may also participate in process improvement and various program activities on HR functional and cross-functional project teams. You must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and share our passion for building.
**This is hybrid position.
Core Duties:
- Administers benefit, leaves, accommodations, incentives, or compensation plans according to company requirements and state and federal regulations.
- Areas of concentration may be limited to one or more of the following Total Reward areas: welfare benefits, compensation, FMLA, awards, incentives, wellness, company stores and distributions, and other corporate activities.
- Maintains appropriate contact with all employees with questions in relation to Total Reward issues.
- Track all Leave of Absence documentation, notifications, correspondence, and administration details accurately and in a timely manner. Assist employees and answer questions related to leave of absence.
- Maintain accurate auditing and administration of company 401k plan.
- Administer the workers compensation claims process including providing applicable notices, monitoring employee’s treatment process and medical restrictions, and engaging in an interactive process regarding return to work.
- Works closely with employees to ensure that all relevant completed documentation is submitted for timely review.
- Partner with Payroll to ensure timely and accurate benefit deductions.
- Administer paid parental leave benefits and related payments.
- Ensure accurate and appropriate information is maintained in HR systems including leaves of absence, benefit enrollments, 401k and integration files.
- Other duties as needed.
What we’re looking for:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a Human Resources function required.
- Strong knowledge of Benefits Administration and LOA's.
- Bachelor's Degree desired or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of HR principles and practices specifically in benefit plans, policies, and process; experience in manufacturing and/or aerospace environment preferred.
- Demonstrated background of responsibility in HR with a focus in benefits required.
- Demonstrate initiative by taking on tasks and/or projects that further the goals and initiatives within Total Rewards.
- Ability to do concise documentation and effectively communicate in written and verbal form.
- Strong emotional intelligence and leadership skills.
- Self-starter attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical, creative, and integrative skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
