    We are partnered with a growing organization in search of an experienced Compliance & Development Specialist to join the team!

    As a Compliance & Development Specialist, you will be able to develop and conduct employee training and leadership development programs and activities in order to enhance and build a safe and compliant workforce and to ensure accordance with applicable federal and state laws. You will be responsible for conducting quarterly and annual trainings, create leadership programs, and be able to travel to our 5 locations (California and out of state).

    *This is a direct hire opportunity.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop training and development program for all manufacturing departments such as Production, Quality Assurance, including with managers in Production, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and other departments
    • Create, organize, plan and present various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees including sexual harassment SOP’s
    • Develop unique training to fulfill workers specific needs to maintain or improve job skills
    • Create training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials
    • Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback
    • Schedule training with new hires
    • Create training program to help workers maintain and improve job skills
    • Monitors, evaluates and records training activities and program effectiveness
    • Evaluates training materials such as outlines, text, and handouts
    • Evaluate performance and the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement
    • Develop testing and evaluation procedures
    • Conduct ongoing technical training and personal development for employees
    • Confers with management and conducts surveys to identify training needs based on projected production processes, changes, and other factors
    • Analyzes training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs.
    • Reviews and evaluates training and apprenticeship program for compliance with government standards
    • Administers organization and employee development, and staff and organization performance management systems programs
    • Advises managers on organizational policy matters and recommend needed changes
    • Keeps up with development in food manufacturing industry
    • Prepares and implements training budget; maintains records and reports of expense.
    • Performs other related duties as required

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in developing and delivering training materials
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Training & Development, or a related field required
    • 5+ years in a manufacturing industry is preferred
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel experience
    • Must be able to occasionally travel locally and out of state
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong presentation skills.
    • Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods
    • Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives
    • Ability to design and implement effective training and development
    • Spanish Bilingual skills required
