Job Description:

• Repair, maintain, adjust, and rebuild machinery and equipment
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and operating difficulties
• Determine need for and effect repairs and adjustments
• Work with manufacturer's representatives and technicians to effect repairs beyond the capability of the plant
• Train, coach and mentor lower skilled maintenance repairers
• Complete minor electrical maintenance, such as replacing fuses, motors, and switches • Perform cutting, welding, fabrication, rigging and motor, drive, and belt alignment
• Manage written records or make entries to maintenance information systems, as necessary
• Read and interpret blueprints, machine drawings and parts diagrams
